release

I'm not at all at my best today.
I believe it's a combination of feeling a little bit forgotten and ED being very present in my head.  It's hard to get out of this space, but I'm hoping that soccer tonight will help me.  I hope it lets me forget about all this and allows me to get all my frustrations out.

  1. Crying. Seriously, I find that crying is such an amazing release sometimes - especially when you're feeling frustrated.

    LOVE this look on you, Emily - the vintage inspiration is very "Mad Men"-ish. :)

  2. Those shoes are adorable! I cant imagine anyone looking this good in vintage clothes. I hope you will feel better soon. I often find release in music, writing my diary and running and I also started to draw although I am not talented at all, but it makes me calm so who cares, I dont have to show it to anyone. Please, take care of yourself and stay safe <3

    I release through yoga, running, board games, chilling with a movie, playing music while painting my nails, giving myself a mani/pedi... the possibilities are endless! Whatever works for you.

  4. I've been having a really difficult time too, Emily, but one thing that helps me is working on my Inspiration Collage. Going through my fitness magazines and cutting out empowering quotes and pictures of strong, healthy woman motivates me to keep pushing forward. Maybe doing something similar or artsy will help you too?

  6. Well your frustrations clearly aren't keeping you from having an absolutely fantastic outfit :) I love those shoes far too much considering if I owned a pair, I'd probably rarely wear them! And what is the nail polish you're wearing?

  7. sometimes when i think about every little thing that is making me upset, things that won't even matter in a week, it makes me feel like my whole day is ruined or makes me feel really negative and i can start to take it out on other people. but when i step back and try to look at the big picture and focus on positive things it really helps, and also, getting a good nights sleep can make everything just go away sometimes and you'll wake up in the morning feeling great. you may feel down today, but hey school will start soon and think of all the new fun things you'll be able to do and experience, especially with you're amazing outfits to set you forth!!!!!!!!!!
