if you really knew me

If you really knew me you'd see that I'm really self conscious.

If you really knew me you would know that I think about things in a different way, and probably overanalyze too much.

If you really knew me you would know that if my friends didn't invite me to go out and do something, I would probably stay home by myself.

If you really knew me I think you'd see how calm I am, but that leads back to my coping mechanism and how I can't make out what I'm really feeling deep down inside.

If you really knew me you'd know how hard I am on myself and how I strive for perfection, sometimes in the worst ways.

If you really knew me you'd see how sarcastic I am and how monotone my voice is.

If you really knew me you'd know how I rely on reality television for entertainment purposes, because my life is not as exciting or dramatic.

If you really knew me you'd realize how much I wish I could grow 5 more inches.

If you really knew me you'd know how sometimes I don't think I'm worth it.

If you really knew me you'd see how much I adore clothes and shopping.

If you really knew me you'd know that Forever 21 is basically what my heaven is going to look like.

If you really knew me you'd know that I could never get through a day without breakfast and 107096875 pounds of fruit.

If you really knew me you'd know that I use music to lift my spirits.

If you really knew me you'd know that although I'm the youngest in my family, I'm also the oldest.

:)
thanks to Ayla from High on Healthy for the idea.

  2. :) :) i rely on reality television for the exact same reason.
& you never know about the 5 inches girl, they told me when i was 15 that my growth plates were closed and i was done growing. but in the matter of 5 years i have grown 2 inches (5'1'' to 5'3'') not much, but there is still hope for you :)

  4. That's a great idea to make a post like this! And your teeth just made me speechless for a while, they look like from a commercial for a toothpaste or for a dental clinic, they are absolutely flawless. Jealous!

  7. As long as YOU really know you, that's all that matters.
I love that you're honest about yourself and TO yourself. Sometimes we think it's better to pretend and make out that we're 'okay' when we're really not.

All these things make you who you are. And you are a beautiful girl, Emily.

    All my love,
    Eleanor x

  12. That photo of you is so vibrant and glowing! I love all of the colors, and your gorgeous smile, of course :)
I am in love with this idea... Some of these are news to me! How tall are you? You look beautifully tall already to me! I am 5' 6" and also wish that I could grow another 5 inches. I suppose most people want something that we don't naturally have... But hey, we can dream!
