"make you banana pancakes, pretend like it's the weekend"

I finally got mirrors for over my dresser!  For those of you who don't know, I've been on a wild goose chase for the "perfect" mirror.  All I wanted was the biggest mirror on the planet, but unfortunately mirrors like that tend to cost more than what I would ever expect to pay.  So in the end, Home Goods, being the savior that it is, came to my rescue and had four mirrors that I couldn't live without.  I still don't know how I'm going to arrange them;  I bought two smaller ones and then the two larger ones pictured above.  If I can't have the ONE gigantic mirror of my dreams, I can certainly make up for it in the form of four mirrors..right?

Oh and, guess who I saw in concert last night?  None other than JACK JOHNSON.  It was amazing.  He is amazing.  There are no other words to describe it.  And, plus, any man who chooses to write a song about banana pancakes is a-okay in my mind.

Have you ever been to a concert?
Who did you see?

Alright, bloggies, I need to get ready for work.  Did I mention that I got a new job?  I'm officially a Barista!  I start on Friday morning.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

  1. love the mirrors!!! home goods is awesome!

  2. Ooh your mirrors are gorgeous - tres chic! Well done on getting a job, I'm job hunting at the moment and I think the whole city's cafes/restaurants/bars must have my CV haha!

  3. Holy poop! I love those mirrors! So classic but so unique at the same time-- it's all in how to place them! You and I have been on a similar hunt... As I am decorating my first place! I will have pictures as soon as I get my computer back (3-5 days from yesterday?!? Yuck!).

As for the concerts! Who havnt I seen? My first? Britney Spears. But the ones I'm more proud of: Bob Dylan, MIA, MGMT, Iron & Wine, Sigur Ros, Death Cab, Tegan & Sara, phenoix, Cat Power, Two Door Cinema Club, The Rocket
Summer, Damien Rice, Fiona Apple, Jose Gonzalez, and I waited to see Kanye West... But after waiting for 3 hours I gave up because it was 4:00 in the
    morning and I was tired!

Okay... That's all I can remember for right now! Hah!

  4. And I totally forgot about Vampire Weekend and St. Vincent! Jeeze!

  5. Lucky!! I love Jack Johnson! I've only ever been to 2 concerts and while the first one, Dashboard Confessional, was good, the second was not. My friend wanted to go see Alexis on Fire and I ended up getting stuck in the middle of an insane mosh pit. Never again.

Congrats on getting a job! More money for clothes? ;)
