So when they said blizzard '10 on the news this morning, they weren't kidding.

meanwhile -- I'm inside, trying to make use of all the free time I have...propped up in my bed, with my computer in my lap, in my sweats.  That's what anyone should be doing on a snow day, right?

Hopefully I find the motivation to be a little bit more productive, because it seems as if today is going to be a repeat of yesterday, which was rather cabin feverish.  Perhaps some yoga in my future?  Or maybe a bit of organizing?  I don't know, time will tell.

I've been trying to draw to get ahead on my third quarter journals, but I can't!  I just can't seem to focus on doing it, and when I try to put something down on the page, I ultimately give up because of the lack of satisfaction I have for my work.  It has been like this for a while now. What is wrong with me!!??

Anyways -- I loved all the feedback from my morning rush post.
Are there any other things you'd like to see more of on my blog?

take note of my formspring!  ask me anything, and I'll most likely answer :)

have a wonderful day!
make sure to keep warm...and busy.

  1. woah emily, where do you live!? i'm slightly jealous :)

  4. I am having the same problem with the snow. I don't know what to do!! I'm feeling pretty lazy but I don't like being lazy. Let us know what you end up doing, maybe I'll be inspired!

To answer your question about what I would like to see more of on your blog... I just love seeing into your mind and reading all your thoughts!

  5. I want a blizzard! Never experienced one and all that snow looks FUN. Right now it's a warmish temperature with SUN. What the heck.. it's supposed to be winter. I'll stop complaining though because it actually IS nice to see the sun again.

  6. whoa! i've never seen that much snow in my life! the total amount of snow i've seen prob doesn't even add up to that! stay warm lady!

  7. i'm living the snowy life too. still in my sweats too. totally okay with it too.
    happy saturday beautiful!

  8. There is absolutely nothing wrong with you, beautiful! Everyone gets bitten by the "lack-of-insipration" bug from time to time. Goodness knows that happened to me! I tried doing homewo-... Oh wait, that's different. That's the "I-can't-be-bothered" bug. ;)

You'll find the inspiration and motivation, sweet. It will come - you've got the creativity, the talent and the ability to make beautiful art. Wait for it to come to you, don't force it out.

Relax today, Emily! Treat yourself. :)

I think you're blog is wonderful just the way it is :) as long as it's reflective of your thoughts and inspirations then it's perfect!

  12. Oh I cannot wait until springtime manifests itself. I miss wearing dresses. Oklahoma has had two blizzards this year and I get the worst cabin fever - I hate it. Your pictures make it look so relaxing though (:
