anxiety

I'm back at it with the looks.

How was everyone's Monday?

Today I was confronted about my blog by a few girls that go to my school (hi! If you are reading).   I love sharing my URL with anyone who asks, I love new readers.  So if you have recently started following my blog, I'm so grateful to have you :)

Today at my therapy session, my therapist and I talked about anxiety.  To tell you the truth, I never realized how much anxiety I have all the time!  I'm carrying around so much stress and worry about the simplest things!  No wonder sometimes I can't think straight...

Anyways, that leads me to question -- what do you get anxiety about?  how do you deal with it?

My list of major anxieties

1. food
2. school
3. the unknown (like freak accidents or school shootings<--- they freak me out a lot! I may or may not be just a little paranoid.)

And also, I really want to share this card with you that my best friend gave to me.  It suits many of you girls.  Please read!

Do you know how amazing you are?
You're more than just age,
Or an hourly wage,
You're more than your email address.
You're not just some size,
Or the shape of your thighs,
Or the make of the car you possess.
You're not just your PIN,
Or the shade of your skin,
Or the place you were born,
or the date.
You're not your IQ,
Or the width of your shoe,
Your zip code, your height,
or your weight.
It's not who you know
Or the money you owe,
Your blood type or cereal brand.
You can't be defined
By your zodiac sign,
Or the lines in the palm of your hand.
You're much too complex
For just race, creed, or sex,
You're wonderfully multi-dimensional.
You're one-of-a-kind
With a fabulous mind
And a spirit that's quite unconventional!
That makes you a treasure
Which cannot be measured
With numbers or checks on a chart.
You're truly tremendous, amazing, stupendous!
Believe it with all of your heart!

Sweet dreams, everyone :)

  3. Love the outfits, and I agree with Stef, you are brave! I have only shared my blog with my parents and a few close friends who know what I've been through. I feel anxious about food, life, school, people, money, soo many things. But I've been trying to just take things one day at a time. 1 hour at a time some days. I realize that everything is going to be okay. Everything is going to work out. If I believe it can.

That card your friend gave you is lovely. Thank you for sharing it :)
    Love love love,
    Lexi

As for anxiety...I know you're probably sick of hearing my response, but music again. I say that for everything it seems; but truly, music makes me calm down!! :)

  10. omg loved all those outfits--especially the first one! you have such amazing style :] ugh, my post was about anxiety too! i have it to the extreme about EVERYTHING. it can get very frustrating. i get worked up over the silliest things. usually, the best thing to do is just to rationalize the thoughts in your head. that is the most helpful thing i learned in treatment. yes, it may seem a bit strange to talk to yourself. but it works, i promise! for me at least.
    love,

  11. Loved the outfits, the first one is my total fave. I get anxiety too! Esp about paying back my students loans. Wow, it is really crazy. You gotta go to college to get ahead, but the cost puts you so far behind. It's a horrible catch-22!

Awesome outfits! I'm really liking the first one.
I ditto the brave thing.. sharing your blog WILLINGLY?? With people you KNOW? SO brave! I'm hoping that one day I'll reach that point, where I no longer worry about what others think about my ED.
As for anxiety.. I get it for:
    1)Food.

And that's probably the main thing. Most other things I can deal with just fine.
