back in action

Sorry for the MIA- ness, I’ve just been taking a little break for the weekend.  We all need a break now and then :)

Today, I’m all show and tell.  So much to say, too much homework, so little time!

Let’s start summing things up.

1. Good bye comfort zone.

Yup, ‘tis true.  I cannot tell you how many days at school I’ve contemplated eating the extra something or not eating the extra something.  Truth be told, I did eat the extra something 100% this week!  I managed to scarf down that snack WHEN I WAS HUNGRY.  Intuitive eating is possible, I’ve experienced it first hand, with some struggle here and there of course.

2. Lunch with Emily.

As I have said before, I was planning on sharing some food pictures with you all very soon.  Well, that day has come.  During today’s lunch hour (my camera died at breakfast and couldn’t snatch a reasonable picture) I was all a-buzz in the kitchen preparing my food, then snapping pictures for your pleasure.  Shall we move to the meal?

9-6 011 Light Flat Out Wrap, melted shredded mozzarella cheese, black beans, green peppers, zucchini, and a big ‘ol dollop of sour cream

I hated it

9-6 013

Then it wouldn’t be a meal without my delicious red delicious.

9-6 017

Or my beloved Kashi Roll! Caramel Peanut Bar.

3. Teen Vogue Handbook.

I just got this little gem and can’t wait to bury my nose in it.  It is the perfect guide for me, i.e. “An Insider’s Guide to Careers in Fashion”.  A review will be in the future after I’m done with this baby!

4. Friday’s Look.

9-6 002

- hounds tooth check shirt
- gray jean leggings

- peace moccasins

I gave my boots a rest for a day :) But I’m really pumped, because I just got my pay check.  Do you know what that means?  SHOPPING FOR NEW BOOTS!  And anything else that crosses my path.  I really believe I have an addiction :)

5. Inspiration Wall.

To add a little personalization to my room, my mom and I are putting together an inspiration wall.  A big portion of the wall is going to be taken over by bulletin board, allowing me to fill it with all things that inspire my creativity.  My mom found this site called Urban Lola with wonderful wall decals that would match perfectly with my room decor, and fit just right around a bulletin board.

How cool is that?  It doesn’t even look like a wall decal!

6. New week, fresh start.

For the beginning of a new week, I thought something to produce smiles would help all of us move along.

How could you resist that?

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
