beauty sleep

How was everyone’s Monday? 

My week started out wearing this --

- white polo
- skinny jeans
- boots

Today was my second day of the “snacking” meal plan.  I have to admit…it went better than expected, but I hate the blah feeling that comes with it.  ED is in the corner of my mind kicking and screaming, but what he doesn’t know is that in the other corner of my mind is my dream of playing soccer.  It’s so hard to make something you don’t want look appealing – many aspects of recovery are appealing – just not the  “ew..who is that girl staring at me in the mirror” part.  I can’t jump too far ahead of myself though, I know recovery is a long process and that will heal in time.

However, being that I have new slots for snacking, I did take full advantage!  Today I had a White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Clif Bar AND (yes I did just say and) an Odwalla Berries GoMega Bar.  Both were pretty good, but a microwave would have come in handy, if only schools had student accessible microwaves.  Anyway, all this snack talk makes me wonder…What are your favorite snacks to have throughout the day?

Well my friends, I don’t want to stay up all night doing homework, watching tv, and posting, because this blogger has picture day tomorrow.  Yep, that’s right, I gotta get some beauty sleep tonight!  Hopefully I’ll get a good picture this year, because I haven’t been so lucky in the past.

  1. Mmm the white chocolate macadamia nut is a favorite of mine for sure. As for other snacks? hmm I'm a big fan of larabars (naturally:) or almonds. Gotta love the almonds:)

    Great job on the snacking and ignoring EDs protests! My favourite snacks throughout the day are trail mix, yogurt & fruit combos, and of course BARS!

  5. I absolutely adore Monday's outfit - it's very equestrian and chic. J'adore! :)

    My favorite snack throughout the day is grapes. I like red ones that are firm and juicy. They are such a refreshing snack. I would love to have some peanut butter, but I have yet to reach the stage where I'm comfortable eating it without a panic attack, so I don't... :/

    My current snack favorite is this Ritz Simply Social savory Crisp which I discovered in the supermarket yesterday topped with artichoke and jalapeno dip. I've been eating them since I woke up this morning.
