Update

I'm here amongst all my books and what not...
and this is why I wasn't ready for school to start!

Well anyways -- I'm going to give you a little update on everything and then I'll do my look last...I want to change things up and make the blog more interesting.  Is there anything, you as readers, would like to see more of?

Now...
In the News

  • Well I've got some good things to tell foodwise!  Today I managed to conquer that granola bar at lunch.  You know what I'm talking about, the extra "something" that is sitting at the bottom of my lunch bag, left untouched and to be tossed like it was never there.  Yes, that's right, I ATE IT.  And obviously, I'm not dead.  I am not really sure what provoked this change, but it just happened...sometimes I eat unconsciously, which I know isn't the best thing to do, but in terms of what is going on with me right now, it is the only way I can do something out of the blue -- like eating something I wouldn't normally eat.

  • Also, I did try a couple Clif Bars: Crunchy Peanut Butter and Oatmeal Raisin Walnut.  Whoever thought of popping those babies in the microwave was an absolute GENIUS!  I love how they get all soft just like a cookie right out of the oven :] Both were equally delish and I have a Blueberry Crisp Bar still waiting to be ripped into, along with some Odwalla Bars. I was at Wegman's last week, found their organic aisle, and there it was...the shrine of bars.  It was practically heaven, I have never seen so many wonderful bars in one place!  So you know, I was the girl stuffing all the bars she could into her hands, and we eventually decided to get a cart.  That is where all the previously mentioned loot is from :]

  • Guess what!  I finished Who What Wear, and I'm officially in love.  I know I've said this before, but now I know I have a guide to help me find outfits for almost every event possible!  Now I'm scouring every bookstore for Hungry, but I know I should just order online because it is cheaper and it'll take less time.  Has anyone gotten it yet?  Oh and I totally forgot to mention that I finished Life Without Ed last month,  I had been reading it a while with my Therapist.  I loved it.  I thought it was incredible how as I turned page after page, my thoughts were basically put into words.  It's astounding how people with ED can feel the EXACT same way.  If you are struggling with ED and haven't read it yet, please do, I highly recommend it!

Well I'm off to do Driver's Ed homework and history and math...
wish me luck :[

here is the look before I go --
- Black and white cinched top
- Skinny jeans
- Leopard flats
 (KILLED MY FEET)

I hope that was a sufficient post..
And again -- keep me updated on what you like to read!

  1. Beautiful, as usual:D

Haha, you got me there with the bars! I know how it feels...reading about all these reviews on Laras and Clifs, then stumbling across one whole aisle of them...HEAVEN. Then actually eating one--a million times better! You go, girl!

  2. Thanks for reading Life Without Ed! I am glad you liked it. I hope you will check out my new book, too -- Goodbye Ed, Hello Me. Keep writing. And keep fighting for full freedom from Ed!

  3. I think this is my favorite look on you yet - but I'm sorry to hear that the shoes killed your feet. I'm sure the outfit will look just as lovely with a different pair of footwear.

I have never read Life Without ED, but I found that Carrie Arnold's Next to Nothing helped me a lot. I felt that I was reading about myself.

I quite like your blog the way it is, but if you really want to add something new, perhaps you could, a few times a week, post something that you're craving - be it a cupcake or a particular pair of boots. Just a suggestion. :)
