multi-tasking

Okay so I'm sitting in my living room, blogging, doing homework, and watching Grey's Anatomy at the exact same time.  No one can ever question my ability to multi task :]

So the reason I'm posting so late tonight is because I had my first day at work.  Yes, I'm currently trying out a job at a local interior design place, I am anxious to see how it goes.  The first day was a little slow, but isn't that how every first day is?

here is my look for both school and work --

- black v-neck (v-necks are a staple!!!)
- gray tweed shorts
- gold braided belt
- gold flats

Anyways, I am half way through Hungry!  Ah it is so good, I can't put it down.  I highly recommend it :]  It was actually pretty funny, because I was reading it in class -- keep in mind that Crystal Renn on the cover is a "hot mama" -- and my spanish teacher walks over and asks what I am reading...HE (yes a man) was like "Hungry??" and looked at the cover with a questioning face.  It was just a little embarrassing, but hey, the book is good, I don't care what the cover looks like!  She really captures the essence of what it is like to have an eating disorder and how she felt, how she acted etc.  She also describes how all girls and women who have an ED have this instant connection -- which I totally understand, because I've met so many people I can relate to with ED.  Pick this one up...you won't be disappointed!

Well, I work again tomorrow and there's a football game, so I might not be able to post tomorrow -- but I'm not quite sure.  I'll do the best I can!

Enjoy your night and this premiere of Grey's Anatomy :]

  2. I've always been a fan of plus-size models! There's a great site with many images of Crystal and other plus-size models here:

    They're all gorgeous.

The site's forum also has thought-provoking discussions about body image and the media.

  3. I adore your tweed shorts. I have an affinity for tailored shorts despite the fact that I own all of 0 pairs! :)

I am going to have to pick up Hungry soon - you've convinced me. I agree, those who have been afflicted with ED do have an instant connection. Take you and me for instance, everything you've said I have felt or am feeling right now. It's a bonding experience. I think it shows that some good can emerge from such a disease. :)

Sounds like an awesome job! I've always been interested in interior design.. but I'm an English Major - so I don't think that'll work out ;)
