Hello!

I'm back!
...and very well rested! Yesterday was really unproductive, which is what I needed because I was dead tired. My parents put together my bed though! I'm uber excited about it -- it's everything I wanted and more, except for the fact that I still don't have a full size mattress to put on it. So yes, I was on the floor once again.

Another thing about my room..I want opinions and thoughts. What do you guys think about this side table from Target beside my bed? I can't decide. Is it the right proportion? It seems small, but then again I don't have a lot of space on either sides of my bed.

OH and I forgot to mention that I started sewing last week! With the help from my mom's friend I have already almost completed an adorable brown and off-white hounds tooth check elastic waist skirt with pockets. I have yet to finish the waist, but when I do, you'll be seeing me wear it slightly above the hips with a belt -- I love the high-waisted look. I was also able to add pleats to it and I plan on shorting it just a little bit.

For all my foodies out there...guess what I bought to try? Clif Bars, Kid Z-Bars, and a Luna Bar! I Have yet to try the Clif Bars, but I have tried the Blueberry Z-bars and the Peanut Butter Cookie Luna Bar. The verdict? Yum! Both were delicious and can't wait to try more flavors! As for the Clif Bars..I got the Crunchy Peanut Butter and Oatmeal Raisin Walnut, we'll see how they taste :] The best part about recovery so far is being brave enough to dive into new foods I've never tried before. I've always had such an interest in food, I am really excited to start cooking and making up tons of delicious concoctions.

Well I'm off to watch some TV and maybe go to the pool for an hour or two...idk. Later I am meeting up with two friends for dinner, its been a tradition that we go to our local pizza place every Sunday, but it was put on hold for a while and now we are keeping it alive!

catch ya later

:]

  1. i think that side table will be pefect! honestly, my night table is like the size of my pinky finger...I just need it to for alarm clock and lamp -- so it doesn't need to be too big! love all your clif bar swag - enjoy :)

  2. I think you'll find a space for that table. It's not that big and it matches your bed. Good to hear that you are trying out new food. You have the drive... you'll be a able to recover in no time. Hugs!
