Before and...Almost After.

Good Morning!
or almost afternoon I should say -- sleeping late has been my thing lately :]

Being that I'm relatively new to the blogosphere, I'm finding it so incredibly amusing just reading all the different blogs out there. Before I started, I had no idea how many blogs there were that relate to exactly what I'm going through. Some of the blogs dedicated to recovery and living life are so captivating that I can't help but smiling after having read them. And who knew there are so many peanut butter and banana lovers out there like myself?! To those who have found my blog...I really appreciate your feedback. It truly makes me feel like I'm not alone in my uphill battle and it's very comforting to know that while I am continuing to write, people out there are reading! Note to all: keep up the wonderful posts -- and I'll try and return the favor ;]

Lately I've been feelin some shopping withdrawal...I want to go back to school shopping ASAP! Although I'm lookin for anything that catches my fashion forward eye, I'm specifically lookin for something like this little number --

or

I got these off of Alloy.com but I've ordered from Alloy before and...well was a bit disappointed. The fabric quality wasn't as great as I would have liked. So if you have any suggestions on where I could buy a dress/tunic like the two above -- for a reasonable price -- let me know!

Speaking of style, I've got pictures of my room! Well, just the beginning stages...its definitely a work in progress. My mom ordered my bed like a week ago and this is what I chose...

TAA DAA!
It looks comfy right?
As for my actual room -- here's the before with the orange paint

And as for my current living quarters --
lovely, I know ;]
All it took was one coat of paint! My mom used the Behr paint and primer all in one -- worked like magic -- she loved using it. I'll continue to post pictures of my room as things change...I'm still hoping for the mirrored dresser of my dreams to come down in price, but that isn't lookin too good.
That's all for now...I'll post again soon!

  5. I quite love your room. The colors are pretty.

Oh, the elusive tunic. I find it difficult to locate the perfect tunic, but I have seen so many gorgeous pieces at Forever 21 that are completely affordable. Honestly, I have to force myself to stay away from their website, otherwise I would probably charge up the whole shop! :)

Delia's is another store option. And Charlotte Russe. Oh, and Wet Seal. Those are my top choices for finding cute tunics that are affordable! :)
